The TOPAIR turbogenerator for coal plants from ALSTOM is a compact, cost-efficient, and reliable turbogenerator. It can fit into any existing arrangements - from floor mounts to combined cycles. Also, the stator core is made of steel which is now very efficient as it minimizes loss. Moreover, it uses the durable and dependable MICADUR insulation system and the cooling system has many chambers for more efficient cooling and heat transfer. The TOPAIR turbogenerator for coal plants can handle 150 - 400 MW of power at 50 Hz of frequency, and 90 - 300 MW of power at 60Hz of frequency.
