ProMinent activated carbon filter units provide a reliable solution in removing unpleasant smell and taste in water. It employs an excellent quality activated carbon filter material that gets rid of free chlorine and organic matters present in water. While removing the free chlorine and organic matters, it also lets the water flow through its activated carbon filter bed to provide quality water. Backwashing is done to get rid of the impurities on the filter bed. The activated carbon of this filter needs replacement every 1 to 2 years.
