Machine tool touch probe / 3D - LP2 series
LP2, LP2DD and LP2H are robust, compact probes for workpiece inspection and tool setting on CNC lathes. Optical transmission, which requires OMP40M, RMP40M, OMP60M or an RMP60M, is ideal for field retrofitting and optional fitting. These units are functionally equivalent to one another yet provide different solutions as required by different machine sizes.The LP2 has a small body suitable for gauging workpieces in restricted access areas. The LP2H is especially suitable for heavy-duty applications where unexpected triggers are generated by machine vibration or heavy stylus arrangements. In grinding machines and other applications with dust-filled coolant, the LP2DD forms an ideal solution with revised diaphragm assembly.
