FICEP The construction of lattice towers for telecommunication or energy transmission needs a lot of splicing in between columns. These columns are composed of heavy angles and they require heel milling in the splicing to aid the assembly of the connection. The AMT 200 Angle Heel Milling Machine can be installed in the factory as a standalone unit or at the tip of the out-feed conveyor of the FICEP CNC angle punch and shear lines.

The AMT 200 is a semi-automatic milling unit that is designed to mill the angle heel edge. Electrical tower manufacturers mill the edges to prepare the uprights in overlapping angle sections. The angles are milled along the edge of the corner to a certain length and depth that is programmable with electrical and mechanical end-strokes.

It is also ideal for milling the angle edges in the steel construction industry.
