The model P single flow tube meter is designed for low flowrates. This precision instrument embodies the inherent simplicity, versatility and economy of the classical variable area meter. It is particularly suitable for metering carrier gases in chromatography, indicating and controlling gases in manufacturing processes, liquid and gas measurement in laboratories, pilot plants, flow and level indicating, etc. 150 mm Meter with CV™ Valve. Shipped completely assembled, flow meters include standard mounting fittings in a choice of materials, side plates, thick protective magnifying front shield and back plate, optional built-in control valve, and flow tubes selected from the Flow Capacities tables.

The Model S single tube flow meters are similar to P meters in design, employing the same interchangeable flow tubes, valves, and accessories. Likewise they may be panel or bench mounted. The primary advantage of the S meter is convenience in applications, where frequent changing of tubes in meter cases is desired. An example is when several flow tubes are used in conjunction with a single meter case, or when because of the nature of the fluid, periodic cleaning necessitates dis-assembly. The Flow tubes for these meters are available with two types of scales, suitable for different types of applications.

The Model V is a glass tube variable-area flow meter that is integrated with the technology of traditional area glass precision and economical brass and stainless steel material. This feature provides accurate medium flow range measurement. It is specially integrated with innovative rotatable scales that are used to read dual air-water direct gradations that show standard cubic feet/minute and standard liter/minute for air. The Model V is also capable of reading GMP and LPM measurements for water. Constructed in a durable and miniature structure, this device is installed in either through vertical in-line or panel mounting. It is designed to measure water flow rates that range from 4 to 20 sL per minute and air flows of 140 to 900 sL per minute.

The Model V PTFE is a single flow tube rotameter, suitable for medium flow rate measurement. In terms of features, the compact construction is a rigid one, while the item ensures dual rotatable direct reading scales for water and air. There are two versions available, a vertical in-line or a panel mount, while the graduations reflect the English or metric systems.

The flow ranges from 3 to 4LPM water, as well as 100 to 623LPM air. Note that these products incorporate traditional rotameter precision glass technologies, while the rugged PTFE flow meters offer an economical and accurate solution for medium flow range measurements. The V meters are designed with unique rotatable scales or dual air-water, while the direct reading graduations show the SCFM and SLPM markings.

The KOBOLD plastic stream meters of model KSM are based on the float standard with the float moving openly without erosion in the measuring tube. The Kctold URK edition flow-meter/monitor operates on the suspended float principle, and is employed to measure the flow rates in enclosed pipeline systems. The KS M model of KOBOLD plastic flow meters are used for cooling circuits,water treatments and plant engineering.Based on the float principle,the floats move freely in the measuring tube without friction.

The indication point is present at the highest diameter of the float. The standard flow meter is supplied with a percentage of scale, scale for water(+20X), guide rail for accessories and 2 set-point indicators.
The measuring tubes may be available in PVDF to initiate highly aggressive media or in polysulfone for lower aggressive media or in trogamide to initiate simple air or water applications.

The materials are impact resistant and can sustain bending and compressive stresses.

The model VKM belongs to KOBOLD's lineup of viscosity compensated flow meters and switches that is fitted with a spring equipped float, which slides in a cylindrical designed measuring tube and has a crucial orifice wich is regarded as unique. This features and other design features have made it possible for the very first time to produce a flow meter and switch that completely compensates for viscosity and to a substantial level for density even with extremely minimal flows.

The float of these flow meters is appointed with a permanent magnet that actuates potential free bistable reed contact mounted out-side the flow hence guaranteeing her-metic separation between the electrical contact system and the medium. Adding to this, the contact is integrated withing a height adjustable plastic to avoid damage to the contacts by aggressive temperatures or mechanical action.
