2/2-way solenoid valve of nominal diameter DN 17 for use with cold and heated potable water and physically and chemically similar media. The valve is servo-controlled and normally closed (NC). Valves of this design are single chamber valves with the inlet ninety degrees to the outlet and can be manufactured with various connections. Coil systems for common voltage and frequency ranges are available. Electrical operating safety is achieved by insulation class F and can be supported by an integrated protective circuit. By using high quality insulation materials, continuous operation (100% duty cycle) at higher medium temperatures is possible. The glass fibre reinforced polyamide valve body persists hot water. Protection against corrosion of inner parts exposed to the medium is achieved by using stainless steel.

The modular urinal valve system includes a shut-off cock and a solenoid operated cartridge valve. The shut-off valve allows the flow to be manually stopped, using a standard 8 mm Allen key. Variants without shut off cock are also available. The cartridge valve is inserted in the valve body and secured by a gland nut, which makes removable for maintenance simple. All 50.007.101 series bi- and mono-stable cartridge valves can be used. For flushing the pipework before initial operation or after maintenance, the cartridge valve can be replaced by a plug.

The Modular Urinal Valve System includes a shut-off valve, a strainer and solenoid operated cartridge valve. The shut-off valve allows the flow to be manually stopped, using a standard 8 mm Allen key. Suspended particles are filtered by the strainer. The cartridge valve is inserted in the valve body and secured by a gland nut, which makes removable for maintenance simple. All 50.007.101 series bi-stable and mono-stable cartridge valves can be used. Strainer and cartridge valve can be assembled in 15 degree increments to each other. For flushing the pipework before initial operation or after maintenance, the cartridge valve can be replaced by a plug (see page 4). The filter insert should also be removed at initial flushing.
