The fast SCARA robots of the MOTOMAN series from YASAKAWA, are ideally used for dispensing, assembly, part kitting, case packaging, small part handling, lab automation, semiconductor and solar processing. Specifically for applications requiring pick-and-place handling, they can easily adapt to older robot applications in order to expand processes. It is among the range of 4 - 15 axis robots with 1 - 800 kilograms of payload. The controller that they use are similar with the controllers of the MOTOMAN series. Furthermore, it has a radial reach of 450 millimeters, a Z-axis stroke at 180 millimeters, and a maximum payload of 6 kilograms.

The MYS450 is high-speed, compact SCARA robot that is ideally used for handling assembly systems and multi-process systems that need a pick-and-place capability. It makes use of the same controller as larger Motoman robots. It has been integrated with MotoSight 2D, a Cognex In-Sight based vision system and provides outstanding production results while requiring minimal capital investment. It has a radial reach of 450 mm, Z-axis stroke of 180 mm and a maximum payload of 6 kg. The device can be easily integrated with the existing robot applications to broaden the current automated processes. It also has external axes available for the further improvement of the devices flexibility asset.
