The HS L series is part of Sodick's new line of high-speed linear machining centers with direct drives in all axes. Delivering high acceleration rates, extreme strength and great accuracy, this innovation signals a new addition in the standard milling tools. Its Windows-based CNC controller coupled with Sodick Motion Control software results in easy and safe operation of the said machine.

This machine uniquely combines both rough and fine milling in one operating mode unlike the traditional method where these machining passes are separately done. This results in a swift rotating and traveling tool of small diameter that cuts to fine depths.
