The Style 5000 is a robust, carbon fiber packing with low abrasion. It is impregnated with PTFE and then a high temperature break-in lubricant is applied for durability. It is designed for extended service against acids, strong caustics, slurries and any condition where contamination is not allowed.

It is used for applications such as slip-type expansion joints, valve systems, agitators, mixers, autoclaves, reactors, hydroelectric turbines and centrifugal pumps. It is highly resistant to chemicals and has low abrasion to ensure long service. It is ideal for the pulp and paper industry where contamination is not allowed. A low chloride certification is also available.

Garlock Style 1333-G is a one of a kind pump or valve packing. What made this the best is it is braided from graphite fibers and the graphite reinforcement throughout the body of the packing provide greater tensile strength. Because of the placement of graphite filament yarns, this high-end product is abrasion resistance for rotary services as well as anti-extrusion resistance for valve applications. It also contains a passive corrosion inhibitor. Because of its all-graphite and PTFTE free construction, this product guarantees reliability and stability in high temperatures. Another great thing about this is it is cost-effective and its offset square design makes installation and usage pain-free. There is also no need for additional end ring material for valve installations.

The John Crane 1330, 1332, 1335, and C1061 general-service packings are intended for a variety of applications that involve moderate to high temperatures, pressures, and shaft speeds, and are well suited for a wide range of fluids from static or dynamic/water, mild acids and caustics to gases, oils, steam and solvents. They are available in sizes 1/4" (6.4mm) and larger, and are manufactured out of highest quality synthetic fibers and lubricants, further enhanced by PTFE impregnation in order to provide high resistance to chemicals, uniform distribution of gland load and higher durability. They utilize spun synthetic fibers (type 1330), spun brass-wire inserted synthetic fibers (type 1332), spun synthetic fibers with a general-service lubricant (1335) and a combination of spun synthetic fibers and aramid fiber corners, well suited for abrasives and package extrusion prevention (type C1061).

The John Crane Styles, consisting of C1061, C1064, C1072 and 1993, serve as a solution for various application which involves packing extrusion and sleeve wear fields. It is integrated with a chemical-resistant feature and a minimized hardware disfigurement as contrary to packings which are made of high-percentage aramid fibers.

The C1061 is an integration of PTFE steeped synthetic and aramid fibers. The C1064 encompasses graphite drenched PTFE and armid fibers leading to a chemical-resistant packing. The C1065P is also an amalgamation of graphite impregnated PTFE and polyimide fibers. The C1072, on the other hand, is a unification of a non-contaminating virgin PTFE and aramid fibers providing an extrusion-resistant feature.

It is applicable in cross-section various sizes from 1/4" to 1" in 1/16" increments.

The 1625G, 1626, 1635G and N1635 braided packing materials are capable of operating in high temperatures and a wide range of chemical services. These packings are designed with filament graphite fibers to offer maximum sealing and heat dissipation, while minimizing flush. These models also help to lessen process contamination, as well as simplify start-up, installation and modifications. Moreover, the fibers are structurally enhanced for longer service life and more even weight distribution.

The 1625G model is made of graphite fiber with PTFE dispersion, effectively minimizing friction, while the 1626 is made with patented graphite fiber. On the other hand, the 1635G uses pre-coated fibers with no PTFE. The N1635 packing uses pure graphite, which complies with Mil-P-24583 and General Electric NEDC 31795 industry standards.
