The 1760 by A.W. Chesterton Company is a A.W. Chesterton Company which is designed for chemical industry. This unit consisted of PTFE yarn packing that is lubricated with a special silicone oil enabling it to have a quick break-in. The 1765 Series, manufactured by Chesterton, is a series of white chemical packaging specifically designed for rotary equipment. This packaging is best applicable for bleach pumps as well as for other similar rotary applications that necessitate a white, non-staining packaging. In addition, it is constructed using chemical-resistant, expanded PTFE material for maximum durability.

This white chemical packaging is best for rotary procedures wherein a chemical-resistant, non-contaminated process is much needed. These processes include ClO2 pumps, paper stocks, and feeders. Furthermore, brightening as well as bleaching processes are also ideal for this product.

Graphite braided packing - max. 650 °C | 1400R

Chesterton's 1400R raneg of reinforced braided graphite tape packing is designed with a corrosion inhibitor. Carbon yarn reinforcement is present in the graphite tape yarn. It forms a homogeneous mass under gland pressure to hinder the penetration of leakage in the packing set.

The set can resist higher shaft speeds, while also limiting shaft friction. When 1400R sets are installed in valves at higher pressures, the structural carbon fiber reinforcement avoids extrusion.

Its chemical resistance includes pH 0-14, except oleum, fuming nitric acid, and aqua regina chemicals.
